I have been superbusy and not getting anything done on my blogs :-( so I made myself a promise today to rectify that......I will be packaging together some elements, pages and whatever else I have made and upload it to 4shared in the next few days.
Also its been superhot here by my standards as I cannot take temps over 70 F very well. It really affects my arthritis to the point of it being very painful. It ever hurts to walk somedays and it has been hitting the high 80's and low 90's here this last week.
But life goes on so you have to grin and bear it, no matter what
so tonight I am uploading, and hopefully if all goes well I will have some new papers, elements and whatever to share with you:-)

WOW woke up this morning to -3C and with the wind it feels like -13C and a bitterly cold wind. Also supposed to get some snow off and on today so this girl will be staying in the house keeping warm :-)
I decided to go thro all my scraps I have made over the past while and upload them to 4shared and post them here. Some are taggers sized scrap kits and some are just scrapper elements for you to use and enjoy :-) Will try get some up everyday when I find time.

I have missed you all so is nice to be able to pop in and see whats happening. Hubby just got around to hooking up the computers late last night.It was a crazy move for us......the day we picked up the truck it was 70+, the next day it was cold and snowing as well as the following 2 days. The last day we had the truck it was snowing so hard we could hardly see the highway. I tell you it was scary. An hours drive took us an hour and 45 minutes but better to be safe than sorry. But its all here now....lol I will also be working for my son, I will be working in my home and will be only working 3 days a week to start with so thats ok. Later on he will put me full time tho. And all I need to put in is 4 hours a day if I want.......its all up to me. Or I can put in 8 hours or 12 but he said he won't pay me overtime lol I will be doing his books to start with and eventually take over payroll as well . As soon as we get everything set up I will take pictures of the house and post for you to see But may take a month lol I will be moving slow. Very slow ...... It is a 4 bedroom home(2 are downstairs) but we use one bedroom for an office, large living room, small kitchen, a small rumpus room and 2 large storage areas in the basement. All floors upstairs are hardwood floors except for kitchen and bathroom and the kitchen has a granite counter top which I love. Hardly any grass to cut which hubby loves lol. And it has a garage and a long driveway. Very small area in front with grass. Oh and there is a large deck just off the living room so I can sit out and have my coffee in the mornings And thats about all I can tell you for now...but I do promise pictures asap. Have a great day now..

Looking for houses is a royal pain lol.
we found one we really liked but they wouldn't come down in price.......so we kept looking. Yesterday their realtor called ours and asked if we were still interested and we said YES YES lol .They had dropped down a total of 24 thou :-) So papers were signed, we put a deposit on it so they couldn't change their minds again and we can move in May 7th .............Am I one happy camper lol.
My friend and I have gotten a lot packed in the last couple days. Dining room, Living room, movies and stuff from spared bedroom are all done and its just the kitchen, office and our bedroom to do and then the garage :-)

WOW!! What a month lol

We sold our house after only a few days on the market and got only $3000.00 less than our asking price. Bad part is they want possession May 8th which does not give us a lot of time to find a new home in the city. I have been getting up at 4 AM everyday to go in with hubby to look at houses and then if I find some to look at we go see them when hubby is off work at 2 PM. Its been a rought 2 weeks for both of us and I am getting very tired. We are down to choosing one house but because its Easter weekend, the banks are closed til Tuesday :-( so its is going to be a big rush. However some friends are coming in to help me pack up everything but what we need so when the time comes to move we can just load it and move it :-)
Today I stayed home since we picked our house to get done all I can.
No time to play in PSP or browse the groups anymore and I am surely missing it lol

Oh What a Month

Well we have had our house up for sale, looking for a new house in the city and hubby was looking for work since being laid off New Years Eve..........so its been hectic. Anyway hubby got a new job in the city but has to drive an hour each way daily. :-( but thats ok for now. Friday night we got a call from our realtor and he has 3 couples who want to look at our house on Tuesday ..Yeah!!!! I am praying one of them buy it :-) We found a couple houses we really like and are available to move in right away. All freshly painted, new appliances ( which I do need desperately) and a nice garage for our outdoor stuff and car.
So I have been busy with running and looking at houses and now I have to do major cleanup of mine so it shows well. *groans* But I will be back in a few days to post some new freebies for you :-)
Wish me luck on selling our house. Once we're moved and settled in, I'll have lots more PSP time ;-)

And I finally got some Scrap kits done lol
Been working like a slave to try get them finished. I managed to get 3 finished but have made a ton of elements and papers for others so its just to find time to get them all together and zipped up.
Between running to the doctors, trying to sell our house, packing things up here we don't need, trying to find a new house and hubby trying to find a job , I have been busy and getting more confused lol (didn't think it possible but it is)
And being Feb 1st its also getting closer to my birthday and also spring :-)

Well I should have some scrap kits up by the weekend. At least one for sure lol. Am busy putting them together today and tomorrow until Friday. I have made a great number of papers, elements, ribbons and bows and frame in the last while when I got a chance. This morning alone I made over 200 elements in various colors ....phew.........I think I got my mojo back after not doing anything since before Christmas.

Well yesterday I worked in PSP most of the day. Got quite a bit done and nearing completion of a few kits. I've kind of decided to make smaller tagger sized kits. Not so many elements in it. Maybe 5 or 6 papers and 20 to 25 elements. I downladed 2 kits I purchased that had 30 papers and well over 130 elements and it took forever to extract them into tubes lol.
So I am going smaller. Just my idea, whats yours?

Another cold day -32C brrrr

Hi everyone........well we have been busy as bees lol
Went into city Monday and stayed overnight for a job interview. Then come home Tuesday evening and got a call to go in Thursday for another job interview for hubby. Did my grocery shopping while in there and paid our bills. Didn't do any visiting yesterday tho, I just wanted to get home and relax.
Hopefully we'll have a quiet weekend so I can finish my newest Scrap kit and get it uploaded :-)
Next week is major cleanup week as we're putting our house on the market and it has to be ready to be shown.
So I am trying to cram my PSP'ing, scrapping and keeping up with my 2 blogs and the groups I belong to in these next 3 days ;-)

WOW 2009 What a start to the New Year

First off on Wed Dec 31 hubby got notice by 20 minutes he no longer had a job as of Jan 1st. A new owner took over the store. Besides my husband another man who used to be part owner also got his notice and had to turn his key in......shocking to say the least but we are ok with it. Had always said if he bought the store hubby would not work for him.
Anyway, hubby had put in applications and may be starting a new job Jan 15, doing the same job as meat cutter but for $6.00 an hour more. Only it will mean driving an hour every more and night to get to work.
However we are putting our house up for sale right away and going to start looking for an acreage just outside the city where he will be working.
Then it will be a big move as much as I hate moving lol

We had a great Christmas with my children and grandchildren. New Year we spent a very quiet New Years Eve and day. Just us and a couple who dropped in for coffee.

Whew!!! sometimes I think I'll never get ready in time. Always so much to do and still try and be online lol
I have most of the food bought but for salad stuff which I pick up the day before so its fresh.
going to have turkey and ham, mashed potaotes, gravy, 3 salads, pickles, carrors, turnips and peas as the vegetables and for dessert, I am having apple and pumpkin pie and strawberry cheescake................yummmy, my favorite lol
My 2 sons and my daughter will be here plus 3 out of the 5 grandkids so am looking forward to it so much. :-) Will be taking lots of pictures as well.
You all take care and tell me what your doing for Christmas and what your Christmas dinner will be. I'm always curious as to how others celebrate Christmas and the foods they serve.

I am back......had another little stay in hospital for a couple days. Still have more tests to be done in December and a surgery in January. But all in all, I feel ok.

I am also working on some freebies right now....since its so close to Christmas I may make a couple more and maybe a New Years kit then I'm starting on spring, Valentines and Easter :-)

I have had a few entries to my contest and it is going to be extremely hard to pick a winner ( or 2) lol the tags sent to me are soooo awesome ......HELP!!!! lmbo..........but its so much fun to see what different ideas people come up with......I am in heaven :-) and if any of you think your getting your tags back ...NOT lol I'm a keeping them .........as I will use them all anyway off and on thro-out the blog.

What I need is a new name for my blog and a new graphic header for my blog and because I love pink, preferably in that color. I would love to change my blog layout but don't know how to yet ...........
This will run til the end of November and the first prize will be a $10.00 Gift Certificate and second prize will be a $5.00 Gift Certificate from either CILM, MPT , AMI or Lacy Claggs Tube Store. It may be tubes or Scrapkits or PSP Scripts .

Now to give you a clue as to what type of person I am , I am a little bit zany lol, crazy, caring, love fun and people and I love creating.

Thanks for the well wishes.........I am feeling better today following my inhopital surgery yesterday. I have diverticulitis and they also had to remove 15 large polyps which where blocking the intestine......what a relief to have no pain :-) tho I have to really watch what I eat with the diverticuitis all seems to be ok. The polyps were sent away for testing and I will know the results in about 10 days.
Now maybe I can get back to creating again lol

I'm supposed to list 7 things I'm thankful for and pass it on to 7 people.

Things I'm thankful for:

1 I am thankful for my dear sweet hubby and all the love and support he gives me thro the tough times I have been going thro

2. I am thankful for my children and grandchildren. The made my life complete in so many ways

3. I am thankful for friends I have met both online and offline who encouraged me in many ways. Especially when I had no faith in myself

4. I am thankful for each new day I wake up to and try to live each day to the fullest

5. I am thankful for PSP lol for without it I think I would go berserk :-) It keeps my mind active and keeps me going on the down days

6. I am thankful for our home we live in and my animals , a cat who is called Spooky and is spooky lol and a dog called Shep and my beautiful horse Suzie

7. I am thankful to have God in my life

Still not feeling good tho.went to the docs and have to go back Wed for more tests and such.......

But when we got home last night hubby cheered me up by handing me a new 500 GB external hard drive *big grin* He spoils me so much...Now I can buy more tubes hehehe

So I am going to take a couple days off and sort out all my tubes and scrapkits I've downloaded and also the kits I have made as well so I am more organized lmao........as if that will ever happen. lol

I started out PSP'ing about 5 or so years ago but never really got into learning everything about PSP and what it could do. Joined many MSN and Yahoo groups and made tags for people which I enjoyed doing..........then my interest dropped a lot in the making of tags.
But I'd still play in PSP once in awhile lol can't help it. I'm addicted to it and need a dose of it a few times a week .
I loved all the scrap kits I saw coming out and wondered if I could make them, that piqued my interest in PSP again so found some tutorials and then found some free scripts and give it a whirl. I so enjoyed it I'm now a fanatic lmao.......I'm always playing in PSP and downloading patterns and stuff that is free to use and trying out all the filters I have downloaded*blushes* which I never used before ..never tried cause it looked to difficult ..... I am learning something new everyday with PSP, whether I retain it or not is another thing :-)
Many may not know but I have had several small strokes over the last few years, nothing that left me paralyzed or anything tho I did have numbness in the face or arm or leg for a few days after each but it sure affected my memory a lot...eg: I can start doing something and then forget what I'm doing.........my short term memory is a total disaster some days but I make it thro the day pretty much unscathed lol I told my husband that he doesn't have to worry until I forget my name or my way home from the store lmbo.
I am amazed at how many have downloaded my scrap kits and other elements and of how many are visiting my Blog :-) I know its not in the thousands but its better than nothing and so I say to all who downloaded or visited , Thank You so much. I would love to see what you have made and would be proud to post your tags here on my Blog. As alway, you can email me HERE with your tags or designs.

Veterans Day marks the World War I cease-fire in 1918. The U.S. Congress changed the name from Armistice Day to Veterans Day in 1954 to honor and celebrate all veterans who have served during peace or wartime.
Remembrance Day in Canada is a day primarily to honor veterans who have died in service to their country. Traditionally, poppies are worn in remembrance.
Lets all give a moment of remembrance to our fallen soldiers
